Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-04-26

1. Acceptance

By using Dryer (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Dryer is a tool that hands voice, text, images, and links over to an AI workgroup for organization. We may adjust features, performance, pricing, or availability at any time.

The Service is provided as SaaS — it requires a working internet connection and an active subscription. Some features depend on third parties (OpenAI, Cloudflare, Apple, etc.); their availability may affect Dryer.

3. Accounts

  • You sign in to Dryer with a Google, Apple, or email account.
  • You're responsible for all activity under your account — keep your credentials safe.
  • If you spot unauthorized use of your account, contact us as soon as possible.
  • You may not share your account, resell access, or use a single account on behalf of multiple people.

4. Your content

Everything you upload to Dryer (recordings, text, images, links — "Your Content") remains yours.

To make the Service work, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content, and to share it with the data processors disclosed in our Privacy Policy — solely to provide the Service to you.

This license is only for delivering the Service to you. We don't use Your Content to train models, and we don't use it for marketing or any other purpose. The license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

You warrant that Your Content does not infringe any third-party rights and does not violate any law.

5. Subscriptions & billing

  • Subscriptions on iOS are billed by Apple via the App Store. Specific prices, cycles, and billing rules appear on the in-app purchase sheet.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically by default. You can cancel anytime via Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions on your device — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • We won't raise prices without notice. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any increase.
  • Paid fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. If the Service has a major outage longer than 7 days, contact us to discuss.

6. Acceptable use

When using Dryer, you agree not to:

  • Upload anything illegal, infringing, malicious, harassing, or targeted at others;
  • Use Dryer to process personal data of other people without authorization;
  • Scrape, mass-crawl, or otherwise abuse the API via automation;
  • Attempt to bypass subscription limits, forge identity, or attack our systems;
  • Resell Dryer, re-wrap it, or use it as training material for a competing product.

Violation of any of the above gives us the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without refund.

7. Third-party services

Dryer depends on OpenAI, Cloudflare, Firebase, Apple, Railway, and other third-party services. Each has its own terms and availability. We are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services, but we'll do our best to keep things running.

8. AI output disclaimer

Dryer uses AI to process Your Content. AI output may contain errors, misinterpretations, or inaccuracies. Do not rely solely on Dryer's output for medical, legal, financial, or other important decisions.You are responsible for verifying critical information independently.

9. Provided as-is

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dryer is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dryer and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you actually paid to Dryer in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using or delete your account at any time. We may also terminate or limit your access if: you violate these Terms, your account is inactive for an extended period, or for legal/security reasons.

After termination, Section 4 (Your Content), Sections 9–10 (disclaimers and liability), and any other terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you in-app or by email of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.
